Kelly Olsen, LMSW
I’m delighted to be on Rachel Epifanio Counseling’s excellent team of supervised therapists!
I hold a masters in clinical social work from The Boston College School of Social Work and spent the first part of my career in public policy research and consulting. It wasn’t until three personal therapists in a row suggested I become a therapist myself that I considered that I might be good enough for the job.
In 2007, I took an outpatient therapist position at a community mental health center and discovered how much I love it. Being a therapist is the hardest, yet most rewarding, work I’ve ever done. I’m grateful every day to the clients who entrust me with their care and to my past therapists who encouraged me to find my calling.
I live outside Nashville with my husband of 23 years and enjoy hiking, swimming, games, comedy shows, dancing like no one’s watching, and spending time with my family. I have two children and three rescue dogs.
